Inspiration Family Birth Center

We are happy to announce that The Birthing Cottage of Winter Park has now become The Inspiration family Birth Center! We are excited to add on such a wonderful center to our Inspiration family. Midwife Alice Pillay retired after more than 50 years of service to her community as a nurse and then as a midwife. We wish her the best in her retirement and commit to providing the same level of service she did for those many years.

Inspiration Family Birth Center provides premium birth center and home birth care.  Our home birth midwife services and our Birth Center Services are designed with your entire family in mind.  We provide individual, personalized prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum care, including water birth.

Our home birth midwife service area includes Orlando , Celebration,  & Clermont, with services in other areas of Central Florida. Our Birth Center is located in beautiful Winter Park, Florida.  Robyn Mattox is an experienced midwife who provides comprehensive maternity care to expectant families. Midwifery care is a safe, holistic approach to birth.  Natural childbirth is a healthy way to bring your baby into the world, in a gentle and  loving way.   You want to know that you have a midwife with the skills, knowledge and ability to guide and empower you through your journey with compassion and safety. We have a back up physician on call,  should you need a consultation for an assessment or a complication and work with many of the local hospitals, to ensure you are well taken care of should an emergency occur.  We strive to develop a close, personal relationship with you, your partner and your family, while creating a unique labor and birth plan for your new baby.
